How to manual adjust the ram height of small punching power press ?

Most world brand power press machines are standard equipped with motorized slide adjustment systems. There are worm-gear systems inside the ram. The worm gears are driven by a flat motor which is mounted on the ram backside. The slide could be adjusted down and up atomatialy.Operatr jst ned to ressa button. t is very convenient. The curent die height is indicated on a digital indicator, which is mounted on the ram front side. The adjustment precision is 0.1mm. 

But some small power presses are manual slide adjustment. The ram sizes are too small to put the worm-gear system inside. Such as the 25 ton c frame punch press and 45 ton C frame single crank press machine. JH21-45 press machine is customized to be motorized slide adjustment.But JH21-25 press is only manual ram adjustment. 

This article is to introduce the ram adjust steps of world brand small presses.
Step 1: loosen the lock nuts on the press con-rod with a wrench. Loosen both sides, till the lock bolt could be rotated smoothly.

Step 2: put a round bar inside the hol on the adjustplate. Pul out the lock pin on the plate. Turn the lock pin clockwise or counterclockwise, then lef and right move the adjust bar. The ram could be adjusted down and up. The current height is indicated by a ruler mounting on the slide guide. The precision is 5mm.
