The motion of the motor in the press is converted into the linear motion of the slider through the synchronous belt (or gear pair) and the ball screw pair, and the closed-loop control is realized by detecting the movement of the slider through a displacement sensor such as a grating ruler. The limitation is that the bearing capacity of the ball screw pair is limited, the sliding screw efficiency is low, and the tonnage of the press is not large. This structure is generally divided into two cases:

1. It adopts the transmission structure of a single motor, which is often used in screw precision presses. At present, the torque can reach 800kN, and it works with static pressure.

2. It adopts the transmission structure of multiple motors, which is mainly used in bending machines and closed double-point (four-point) presses. The current specifications have been 350 ~ 1250kN. It solves the short stay phenomenon when the speed of the hydraulic system is switched, and the slider movement becomes agile. When driven by 4 drive units, the deformation of the body and the slider can be easily compensated, and the precision of the parts can be increased.
