Precautions for safe operation of single-column hydraulic press

In the machinery industry, the single-column hydraulic press is widely used. Because of its elegant appearance and simple and quick operation, it has unique advantages in the processing of non-metallic materials and metal materials and the correction and pressing of shaft sleeve parts. In addition, the single-column hydraulic press can also be equipped with advanced functions such as PLC control and grating protection to improve the performance of the machine.

The single-column hydraulic press has a wide range of applications, so how to carry out safe operation has been put on the agenda. The following is a brief introduction to some precautions for the safe operation of the single-column hydraulic press.

(1) The operator of the single-column hydraulic press must be trained and master the equipment performance and operation technology before they can work independently.

(2) Before the operation of the single-column hydraulic press, various sundries on the mold should be cleaned first, and any dirt on the hydraulic press rod should be cleaned.

(3) The installation mold of the single-column hydraulic press must be carried out under the condition of power failure, and it is forbidden to collide with the start button, handle and foot on the foot switch.

(4) Before the hydraulic press works, start the equipment idling for 5 minutes, and check whether the oil level of the oil tank is sufficient, whether the sound of the oil pump is normal, and whether the hydraulic unit, pipes, joints, and pistons leak.

(5) Install the upper and lower molds to center, adjust the mold gap, and do not allow one side to deviate from the center. After confirming that the mold is fixed, test the pressure again.

(6) Start the equipment to test the pressure, check whether the pressure reaches the working pressure, whether the operation of the equipment is normal and reliable, and whether there is leakage.

(7) Adjust the working pressure, but it should not exceed 90% of the rated pressure of the equipment, test a workpiece, and then produce after passing the inspection.

(8) For different hydraulic machine materials and workpieces, when pressing and calibrating, the working pressure, pressure application, and pressure holding times and time of the press should be adjusted at any time, and the mold and workpiece should not be damaged.

(9) When the press plate of the body slides up and down, it is strictly forbidden to put your hands and head into the work parts of the press plate and mold.

(10) It is strictly forbidden to perform operations such as knocking, stretching, welding, cutting, bending, and twisting on the work while applying pressure.

(11) When the single-column hydraulic press is working, no smoking, welding, cutting, hot fire, or storage of flammable and explosive items are allowed. Take fire prevention measures.

(12) After the single-column hydraulic press is finished, the power supply should be cut off, the hydraulic rod of the press should be wiped clean, lubricating oil should be added, the molds and workpieces should be cleaned and placed neatly.
