1. When the idle stroke is downward, the upper and lower plungers and the moving beam descend together. After contacting the workpiece, the oil inlet and outlet of the upper cylinder of the four-column hydraulic press are closed. However, the upper chamber of the lower cylinder enters the pressure oil and the lower chamber discharges oil, and pushes the plunger and the moving beam to press down together. When the material breaks suddenly and loses the load, the upper cylinder plunger remains stationary, and only the lower chamber plunger may produce downward impact. However, since the lower cylinder only needs to meet the requirements of cutting off the material, the plunger stroke does not need to be large, and the volume of the upper cavity of the lower cylinder can also be relatively small, so the stored elastic energy of the liquid is relatively small, and the impact vibration is correspondingly reduced.

3. Add a one-way throttle valve to the hydraulic control oil circuit of the hydraulic control check valve of the four-column hydraulic press. After adjusting the throttle valve, the clearance of the hydraulic control flow is controlled to reduce the movement speed of the control piston, which also extends the hydraulic pressure. When the main valve of the control check valve is opened, first open the small unloading valve on the main spool, and then open the main valve.
