Analysis of the reasons for the failure of the press

Presses are used in a wide range of applications, but after long-term operation, some failures will occur. It is an important task to prevent the expansion of the fault and ensure the normal operation of the equipment to determine the cause of the press failure in time and deal with it accordingly.

1. The press cannot work after it is powered on, but there is no abnormal sound, no smell or smoke.

This reason should be considered to be caused by the motor

1. Causes of failure ① The power supply is not connected (at least two phases are not connected); ② the fuse is blown (at least two phases are blown); ③ the overcurrent relay is adjusted too small; ④ the wiring of the control equipment is wrong.

2. Troubleshooting ① Check the power circuit switch, fuse, and junction box for breakpoints, and repair; ② Check the fuse type, fuse reason, and replace the fuse; ③ Adjust the relay setting value to match the motor; ④ Correct the wiring.

3. The vibration of the press is relatively large during operation

1. Causes of failure ①The bearing clearance is too large due to wear; ②The air gap is uneven; ③The rotor is unbalanced; ④The shaft is bent; ⑤The coaxiality of the coupling (pulley) is too low.

2. Troubleshooting ①Repair the bearing and replace it if necessary; ②Adjust the air gap to make it uniform; ③Correct the dynamic balance of the rotor; ④Align the shaft;
